Clea is for adults 18 and older. Behavior that endangers a person, exploits a minor, or involves a credible threat may be escalated to emergency services or law enforcement.
Be real
Use your own identity, current information, and photos you have the right to share. Do not impersonate someone, misrepresent your age or intentions, create duplicate accounts to evade enforcement, or deceive people about material facts.
Respect boundaries and consent
Consent must be freely given, specific, informed, and ongoing. A match, message, or accepted plan is never consent to physical or sexual contact. Pay attention to words and behavior, accept “no” immediately, and never pressure someone to meet, drink, share personal information, move to another app, or do anything sexual.
Communicate with care
Disagreement and disinterest are normal. Harassment, threats, stalking, bullying, sexual harassment, repeated unwanted contact, graphic sexual content, and humiliation are not allowed. Do not target people based on protected traits or use slurs, hateful symbols, or dehumanizing language.
Keep plans honest
Post plans you genuinely intend to keep. Use accurate venue, time, and reservation details. If something changes, communicate promptly. Repeated no-shows, deliberate bait-and-switch plans, unsafe venues, or using a plan to sell, recruit, or solicit are not acceptable.
Protect privacy
Do not share another person's private messages, photos, contact details, location, workplace, or other identifying information without permission. Never record an intimate interaction without clear consent. Do not threaten to expose or distribute private or sexual content.
No scams or exploitation
Do not request or send money, gift cards, financial credentials, cryptocurrency, or account access through Clea. Fraud, romance scams, trafficking, sexual services, blackmail, extortion, and attempts to move or launder money are prohibited.
Share appropriate content
Do not post nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, illegal material, or content that exploits or sexualizes minors. Content involving minors may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Do not upload malware, spam, unauthorized promotions, or material that infringes another person's rights.
Report concerns
Use Clea's report and block tools when someone crosses a boundary or creates risk. Reports are reviewed in context, and we may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or contact authorities when appropriate. Do not knowingly make false or retaliatory reports.
